How can you do a sub-five second 0-60 run in a Jeep? Any idea? No? Well with the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that is quite possible and maybe with the perfect conditions you could beat that. On a track. We mean on a track.

This type of performance is not often found in a SUV that weighs more than 5,000 lbs but Jeep built an SUV powered by a naturally aspirated 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine that produces 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Jeep brand has worked hard to produce an SUV that meets their lofty performance goals and with this SRT it seems that we can benefit from all of their hard work.

Since 2011 the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT has retained much of the same styling and design, but for 2017 there are some changes to help set it apart from the past year. Most notably the three new air intake slots above the front bumper help to differentiate this model while allowing more air to being directed into the engine to help keep it cooler than before. This change should allow drivers to enjoy the drive even more.

At Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Corpus Christi we are not lucky enough to have any SRT models on our lot yet, but we would be more than happy to help you figure out how you can become the owner of one of these beasts. In the meantime you can check out our expansive inventory of new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM models that we do have on our lot.
