Enjoy Powertrain Effectiveness and Efficiency

Who doesn’t want a vehicle that can merge into traffic, switch lanes, and conquer inclines quickly and safely without sacrificing fuel efficiency? With the latest Jeep Wrangler, you can certainly do so. Credit that to a pair of engines, which are a 3.6-liter Pentastar engine and a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder (I4) turbo engine.

The Pentastar is a V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque: plenty of output to get you from one point to another without feeling a lag. And yet, the engine is improved over previous years, at a gas mileage of 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. It makes the latest Jeep Wrangler the most fuel-efficient Wrangler ever.

Even more fuel-efficient is the optional 2.0-liter turbo I4, which delivers 23 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. And it provides enough power to move the Jeep Wrangler forward: at 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
