A Bird for Beast Mode: The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

In our last blog post, we talked about a new ‘hawk in the Grand Cherokee nest. Now, it’s time to talk about one with an entirely different mission. At this year’s New York Auto Show, the Jeep brand took the wraps off the Trackhawk—a 707-horsepower version of the popular Grand Cherokee. But it’s not just powerful, it’s also practical.

The practicality part is old news—in designing the Trackhawk, the Jeep brand retained the Grand Cherokee’s interior space and upscale appointments. That leaves us to focus on performance, which the Trackhawk has in spades. The Hellcat SRT’s HEMI V8 is under the hood, and mated to a RWD-biased AWD system (this power can be shunted depending on drive mode) that enables 0-60 sprints in 3.5 seconds.

Mean, mighty, and practical are the words we’d use to describe this new Jeep model. To learn more about it, contact our Corpus Christi, TX location whenever it’s convenient, and we’ll set you up with a test drive.
